LT®3080 是一款 1.1A 低压差线性稳压器,可直接并联以增加输出电流或在表面贴装型电路板上散播热量。该新型稳压器被设计为一款精准电流源和电压跟随器,因而可在许多需要高电流、可调至零且无散热器的应用中使用。而且,该器件还引出了传输晶体管的集电极,以在与多个输入电源一起使用时实现低压差操作 (低至 350mV)。

LT3080 的一个重要的特点是能够提供一个宽输出电压范围。利用流经单个电阻器的基准电流,可以把输出电压设置为 0V 至 36V 之间的任何电平。当在输出端上使用 2.2μF 电容时,LT3080 可实现稳定,而且该 IC 采用了无需额外 ESR 的小陶瓷电容器,而其他稳压器则常常做不到这一点。

内部保护电路包括电流限制和热限制。LT3080 稳压器采用 8 引脚 MSOP (具有一个裸露衬垫以改善热特性)、3mm x 3mm DFN、5 引脚 DD-Pak、TO-220 和使用简单的 3 引脚 SOT-223 封装版本。

演示电路995A是一款可调1.1A线性稳压器,内置LT3080。该新型稳压器构建为精密电流源和电压跟随器,可用于许多需要高电流、调整为零输出且无需散热器的应用。配合多个电源使用时,该器件会引出调整管的集电极以实现低压差工作。演示板的输入电源电压范围为2.3V至25V。为便于适当调节,LT3080具有控制引脚;此引脚上的电压必须高于输出电压1.2V至1.35V。输出电压通过跳线可选,可设置为1.8V、0V和5V之间的值(使用微调电位计R2)或用户定义值。
