The LTM8049 is a Dual SEPIC/Inverting μModule® (power module) DC/DC Converter. Each of the two outputs can be easily configured as a SEPIC or Inverting converter by simply grounding the appropriate output rail. The LTM8049 includes power devices, inductors, control circuitry and passive components. All that is needed to complete the design are input and output caps, and small resistors to set the output voltages and switching frequency. Other components may be used to control the soft-start and undervoltage lockout.

The LTM8049 is packaged in a thermally enhanced, compact (15mm × 9mm) over-molded Ball Grid Array (BGA) package suitable for automated assembly by standard surface mount equipment. The LTM8049 is RoHS compliant.

Applications

  • Battery Powered Regulator
  • Local Negative Voltage Regulator
  • Low Noise Amplifier Power

AD-FMCXMWBR1-EBZ

FMC X-Microwave Compatible Level Translator and Power Supply Kit

FMC X-Microwave Compatible Level Translator and Power Supply Kit

Features and Benefits

  • FMC-compatible form factor
  • Powered from FMC connector with external supply possibility
  • Provides level translation and various supply values
  • Compatible with RaspberryPi X-MW controller

Product Detail

The AD-FMCXMWBR1-EBZ is a level translator and power supply board, with FMC-compatible form factor. It is powered from the FMC connector, with the possibility to add an external supply, for application that require higher load currents. In this case, the external supply is prioritized.

AD-FMCXMWBR1-EBZ allows multiple level translated digital communications paths between a controller/FPGA device and X-MW blocks. The module provides multiple supply voltages with high current capability, that can be used to bias the X-MW blocks or other IC’s in a prototype design.

APPLICATIONS

  • RF and Microwave designs
  • Voltage level translation
  • General-purpose software radios
  • Radar systems
  • Point to point communication systems
  • Multiple input/multiple output (MIMO) radios
  • Automated test equipment

Product Detail

Demonstration circuit 2244A features the LTM8049, a dual SEPIC or inverting μModule® regulator. The demo circuit is configured as two stand-alone SEPIC and Inverting DC/DC converters with +12V and –12V output voltages from an input voltage up to 20V. The switching frequencies of both channels are set at 1MHz on DC2244A. The frequency foldbacks when the output is 15% below the target regulation point during a fault or output overload, thus protects the power switch from damage.

Tools & Simulations
