The LTC3112 is a fixed frequency synchronous buck-boost DC/DC converter with an extended input and output range. The unique 4-switch, single inductor architecture provides low noise and seamless operation from input voltages above, below or equal to the output voltage.

With an input range of 2.7V to 15V, the LTC3112 is wellsuited for a wide variety of single or multiple cell battery, backup capacitor or wall adapter source applications. Low RDS(ON) internal N-Channel MOSFET switches provide highly efficient operation in applications with higher load current requirements.

The LTC3112 features selectable PWM or Burst Mode operation, an easily synchronized oscillator and output disconnect in shutdown. An output current monitor circuit allows the load current to be controlled or measured. Other features include <1μA shutdown current, short circuit protection, soft-start, current limit and thermal shutdown.

The LTC3112 is offered in both a 16-pin (4mm × 5mm × 0.75mm) DFN and 20-pin TSSOP packages.

The AD-3DSMARTCAM1-PRZ is a 2D & 3D machine vision solution with AI edge processing capabilities. It can be used for implementing advanced machine vision applications for different industry segments including logistics, robotics, agriculture and people activity monitoring.

An open-source SDK that accompanies the hardware platform enables configuring the camera and extracting depth, IR and RGB data from the camera on the host system of your choice. Windows and Linux support are built into the SDK as well as sample code and wrappers for various languages including Python, C/C++ and MATLAB. The SDK also integrates with 3rd party technologies like OpenCV, Open3D and RoS.

Demonstration Circuit 1598A is a fixed frequency synchronous buck-boost converter with an extended input and output range. The unique 4-switch, single inductor architecture provides low noise and seamless operation from input voltages above, below, or equal to the output voltage.


The LTC3112 features selectable PWM or Burst Mode operation, and an easily synchronizable oscillator. An output current monitor allows the load current to be controlled or monitored. The LTC3112 operates with a 2.7V to 15V input voltage range and a VOUT range from 2.5V to 14V. The demonstration board has been designed to operate with VIN from 2.7V to 15V and an output current up to 2.5A. For VIN < 5V, IOUT capability is reduced. VOUT is set to 5.0V.
