The ADP150 is an ultralow noise (9 μV), low dropout, linear regulator that operates from 2.2 V to 5.5 V and provides up to 150 mA of output current. The low 105 mV dropout voltage at 150 mA load improves efficiency and allows operation over a wide input voltage range.

Using an innovative circuit topology, the ADP150 achieves ultralow noise performance without the necessity of an additional noise bypass capacitor, making it ideal for noise sensitive analog and RF applications. The ADP150 also achieves ultralow noise performance without compromising PSRR or line and load transient performance. The ADP150 offers the best combination of ultralow noise and quiescent current consumption to maximize battery life in portable applications. The ADP150 is specifically designed for stable operation with tiny 1 μF ± 30% ceramic input and output capacitors to meet the requirements of high performance, space-constrained applications.

The ADP150 is available in 14 fixed output voltage options, ranging from 1.8 V to 3.3 V. Short-circuit and thermal overload protection circuits prevent damage in adverse conditions. The ADP150 is available in tiny 5-lead TSOT and 4-ball, 0.4 mm pitch WLCSP packages for the smallest footprint solution to meet a variety of portable power applications.

This product has individual evaluations boards at specific voltages or with specific features as well as the RedyKit&tm;. The RedyKit simplifies product evaluation by providing two assembled and tested evaluation boards, plus a full set of product (voltage) options for an IC regulator. All the IC options come sorted and stored in the kit with the Analog Devices part number clearly printed on each antistatic zip-top bag.


Simple device measurements such as line and load regulation, dropout, and ground current can be demonstrated with just a single voltage supply, a voltmeter, a current meter, and load resistors.

Product Details

In order to get the correct unpopulated evaluation board with an appropriate Bill of Materials and Schematic, you need to use the button for "Request Evaluation Board" from within the design tool. Make sure the design tool is in a state that matches your desired power requirements.

This will create a template email that will request from us the proper blank evaluation board for that ADI part and your application's power parameters.


Note: Some parts have multiple blank boards for high/low current or for different topologies (Boost, SEPIC, SEPIC-Cuk), while other blank boards support multiple ADI parts. This is why it is important to run the design tool with your parameters before making your email request from the tool.

DC DC convertes and four digital channels with 2.5KV isolation.(could find ADUM3472) 24 bit sigma delta adc running at 50KSPS and need four simultaneous samling channels in single package.( board space driven package requirmets). could not find ADI part, selected from TI. Low droop out LDO post post switching regulators, ADP150 best suits for my application. single supply instrumentation amplifier(RIRO), with very low noise i used AD8227. input span 0 to 25mV. for this design i tried to achieve 16 bit adc perforamnce, but could achieve only 12-13 bit stable among 24 bits of sigma delta adc. i took care of emi filter in front of IA, four layer pcb, LDO as post dc dc converter stil could achieve 12-13 bits performance.

ADP's package available: SOT and CSP. CSP is usefull for compact design. Common bypass capcitor no need any more so good for room saving. While the close-in noise is common, esp 10Hz

ADI products covers all the electronics requirements i.e. power, amplification, isolation, data conversion with the great features.
