    AD7401A1は、アナログ・デバイセズのiCoupler®技術をベースとするオンチップにデジタル・アイソレータを内蔵し、アナログ入力信号を高速の1ビット・データ・ストリームに変換する2次のΣΔ(シグマ・デルタ)変調器です。5Vの電源で動作し、±250mV(±320mVフルスケール)の差動入力信号を受け入れます。アナログ入力がアナログ・モジュレータによって連続的にサンプリングされるため、サンプル&ホールド回路を外付けする必要がありません。入力情報は、最大20MHzのデータレートで0と1のコード密度として出力ストリームの中に含まれます。適切なデジタル・フィルタを使用することによって、オリジナルの情報を再構成することが可能です。シリアルI/Oでは、5Vまたは3Vの電源(VDD2)を使用できます。
