Product Details

Demonstration Circuit 2429A is a PLL/VCO Supply and Reference Frequency Board that features the LT3042, an ultralow noise and ultrahigh PSRR RF linear regulator. When powered from a 6V to 20V lab or wall wart supply, the DC2429A produces four ultralow noise supplies using seven LT3042s. These supplies include a fixed 3.3V/800mA supply (four LT3042's in parallel), a fixed 5V/200mA supply, a fixed 3.3V/200mA supply that powers an onboard 100MHz ultralow jitter crystal oscillator, and an adjustable voltage (2.5V to 15V), 200mA supply ideal for powering external VCOs. The DC2429 ensures PLL/VCO evaluation meets data sheet performance.

DC2246B is a linear regulator demonstration circuit featuring the LT3042EDD, which is a 200mA, ultralow noise, and ultrahigh power supply rejection ratio (PSRR) RF low dropout (LDO) regulator with programmable current limit.


DC2246B operates over an input voltage range of 3.8V to 20V and is configured for 3.3V at its output. It features ultralow output voltage noise (0.8µVRMS from 10Hz to 100kHz) and very high PSRR (79dB at 1MHz).

The AD-PAARRAY3552R-SL reference design provides control, protection, and proper biasing sequence for GaN power amplifier (PA) arrays. The design incorporates the AD3553R high-speed, dual-channel, 16-bit DAC to support the ultrafast sub-µs voltage settling time of GaN gates.

Key fault events, including overvoltage, overcurrent, and overtemperature, are effectively managed by the LTC7000, a static switch driver responsible for system fault protection.

The on-board MAX32666 ultralow-power ARM® Cortex®-M4 microprocessor provides essential debug and programming features for a comprehensive software development experience with the system. The system's firmware is built on ADI's open-source no-OS framework and includes a user-friendly graphical interface (GUI) for evaluation. Updates are easily applied through an SWD UART bootloader, streamlining prototyping.

The system can be powered by an external +48 V supply, requiring high current capabilities.

The Analog Devices Active Learning Module - Mixed-Mode Signal Chain (ADALM-MMSC) is an educational board that facilitates hands-on exploration of fundamental signal chain concepts. The core of the circuit is the AD4080, 40 MSPS oversampling SAR analog-to-digital converter (ADC) with configurable digital filter and internal data capture memory (single-port FIFO). The board includes a highly configurable 2nd order analog filter with adjustable cutoff frequencies, input attenuation, and filter gain. An onboard selectable clock source provides sample rates from 5 MSPS to 40 MSPS. A MAX32666FTHR microcontroller runs an IIO server over a serial backend, allowing the use of standard tools such as Scopy, IIO Oscilloscope, Pyadi-iio, and ADI's MATLAB precision toolbox.
