Xenon Photoflash Charger

Analog Devices’ growing portfolio of photoflash chargers provides effective and low profile solutions to trigger a xenon flashlamp. These monolithic switching regulator chargers have current ratings from 225 mA to 2 A, can operate from input voltages as low as 1.8 V, are packaged in MSOP or ThinSOT packages, and require very tiny transformers—charging a 220 μF capacitor to 320 V from 5 V in as little as 3.7 seconds.
