LTC®3557/LTC3557-1 是面向单节锂离子/锂聚合物电池应用的高集成度电源管理和电池充电器 IC。它包括一个具自动负载优选功能的 PowerPath 管理器、一个电池充电器、一个理想二极管和众多的内部保护功能。LTC3557/LTC3557-1 电源管理器专为 USB 应用而设计,可自动地把输入电流的最大值限制为 100mA 或 500mA (对于 USB 应用) 或者 1A  (对于墙上适配器供电型应用)。电池充电电流可自动减小,因此,负载电流与充电电流之和就不会超过编程输入电流限值。 LTC3557/LTC3557-1 还包括三个可调同步降压型开关稳压器和一个具 Bat-Track  功能的高电压降压型稳压器输出控制器,允许从高达 38V  的电源进行高效充电。LTC3557/LTC3557-1 采用扁平 4mm x 4mm x 0.75mm  的 28 引脚 QFN  封装。

The DC1138A-B contains the LTC3557-1 Power Management Integrated Circuit (PMIC) plus the LT3505EDD 36V (40V transients) buck regulator. The LTC3557-1 (4.1V charge voltage) includes a PowerPath controller, a 1.5A battery charger (configured for 500mA), an ideal diode, an always-on LDO, three synchronous step-down switching regulators (600mA and 2 × 400mA ), as well as a buck regulator VC controller.


Designed specifically for USB applications, the PowerPath controller incorporates a precision input current limit which communicates with the battery charger to ensure that the input current does not violate the USB specification. The ideal diode from BAT to VOUT guarantees that ample power is always available to VOUT even if there is insufficient or absent power at VBUS. The LTC3557-1 also has the ability to receive power from a wall adapter or other non-current- limited power source.
