The ADA4627-1/ADA4637-1 are wide bandwidth precision amplifiers featuring low noise, very low offset, drift, and bias current. The parts operate from ±5 V to ±15 V dual supply.

The ADA4627-1/ADA4637-1 provide benefits previously found in few amplifiers. These amplifiers combine the best specifications of precision dc and high speed ac op amps. The ADA4637-1 is a decompensated version of the ADA4627-1 and is stable at a noise gain of 5 or greater.

With a typical offset voltage of only 70 μV, drift of less than 1 μV/°C, and noise of only 0.86 μV p-p (0.1 Hz to 10 Hz), the ADA4627-1/ADA4637-1 are suited for applications where error sources cannot be tolerated.

The ADA4627-1/ADA4637-1 are specified for both the industrial temperature range of −25°C to +85°C and the extended industrial temperature range of −40°C to +125°C. The ADA4627-1 is available in tiny 8-lead LFCSP and 8-lead SOIC packages, and the ADA4637-1 is available in tiny 8-lead SOIC packages.

    Used as a direct replacement for the AD8610 (an excellent device in its own right) simply due to increased +/- Vcc ratings, the ADA4627-1 proved to be a superstar in more than headroom. In Hi-end audio, the proof is in the listening, and in blind listening comparisons, 10 panelists preferred the design with the ADA4627-1 over the AD8610, citing more clarity, more detail and more musicality. Next, we intend to increase PS rails to +/- 14VDC in our Phonatic phono pre where gain can be 70dB and headroom becomes a major concern.

    A really good Amplifier
    I was successfully able to design the product using the ADA4627. The online photo-diode amplifier designer is a great tool for designing the circuits.

    Great OPA for audio ...
    ADA462-1 in both versions sounds very nuanced and spacious in sound. They have no particular character, so I should call those as a solid neutral sound too. Based on our measurements we found better specs than TI's OPA627 we've assumed to be in fact their design predecessor. Much better option for AD8065 as well. We should congratulate AD for this great product.

    redesign of test equipment for audio appliances
    Based on using of this part we achieved very good result .We expected very good performance in noise condition.Final result is very positive.For audio application this part is one the best from AD and also much better in comparison with similar parts from competitors.We can recommend this part for its very good values.

    Nice op amp for audio filtering
    this out performs some other op amp that are much more expensive Tested with a sallen key low pass filter excellent attenuation characteristics

    ADA4627 is excellent audio amp with good sound moderate price
    For audio application, ADA4627 might be a very balanced and catch every nuance for most devices at an acceptable price, though still high.

    Real audio
    This opamp is realy good choice for high level audio application. In comparison with competitor´s products this one is very good performed.In our prototypes we tried many opamps of also other makers. For some application should be better to use dual version of this ADA4627-1BRZ but unfortunately there is no dual version.

    Good performance
    I use this OPA in my DAC. The sound is great, very detail and smooth. It is one of my favorite OPA ever.

    This op amp is excellent
    I have been trying to develop an audio dock with op amp. This op amp gets closed to real sound with excellent clarity in microdetails. Compared to some low end op amps, this op amp also sound bigger. It carries AD's good tradition of not coloring the sound.

    An Ecellent replacement for TI opa627
    It functions almost the same way as an OPA627. Noise, distortion, GBP as good or a little bit better. Anyway, YMMV.

    Excellent I/V op amp
    I've been testing this with a dual AD1955 384Khz DAC. It's hard to fault and very easy to recommend.
