USB Charging
Analog Devices’ USB charging and management products utilize key battery charging features and include a PowerPath circuit topology that enables managed power flow, allowing a load to be powered from both VIN and the battery. Our USB charging products offer shorter charging times, instant-on operation (even with a dead battery), and more flexibility for the device designer. Both linear charging for simplicity, and switch mode for higher charging efficiency topologies are offered. Other key features of the USB power family include standalone operation with onboard charge termination, high voltage operation, and thermal regulation.
