Analog Devices offers a full signal chain solution covering the analog front end, mixed signal, and digital baseband to enable high performance 24 GHz radar solutions. This discrete transceiver solution will drastically reduce development time, and detect distance, speed, and angular position with confidence. The discrete design allows for separated transmitter and receiver modules if needed to provide flexibility in spatial design. Leverage the 5 GHz bandwidth available with ADI’s MMICs within 76 Ghz to 81 GHz to get unprecedented resolution and accuracy. Cascade multiple 77 GHz MMICs to increase the number of transmitters and receivers to develop high resolution (imaging) radars. These ultrahigh performance solutions contain an integrated digital phase lock loop with a ramp generator and an on-chip digital loop filter, four continuous time sigma-delta (Σ-Δ) ADCs, and a microcontroller unit (MCU) for control and sequencing, giving designers a complete mmWave radar solution in a single chip and can be paired with any MCU on the market using either LVDS or MiPi interface options.
