Direct Digital Synthesis
Analog Devices’ world-leading direct digital synthesis (DDS) ICs incorporate features such as on-boa
rd comparators, RAM, PLLs, mixers, and registers. ADI’s DDS products provide fast acquisition, highly accurate PSK and FSK modulation, or high precision tuning resolution, among other benefits. They are an ideal synthesizer solution in applications where precise or agile frequency and phase control are required, such as systems for communications, test equipment, and radar.
High Speed DACs
Analog Devices’ high speed (≥30 MSPS) digital-to-analog converters (DACs) include wideband radio fre
quency, intermediate frequency signal processing, and general-purpose baseband classes. These products are employed in wired and wireless communications, instrumentation, radar, electronic warfare, and other applications. Our portfolio of high speed DACs ranges from 30 MSPS to multi-GSPS with resolutions ranging from 8 bits to 16 bits. Our DACs are fully supported with complete data sheets and evaluation boards to reduce time to market and system design costs. These DACs are recommended for use with ADI’s clocking and timing products, as well as RF products and power management.
Precision DACs
Precision digital-to-analog converters (DACs) are critical data conversion components for high-perfo
rmance signal processing systems. Analog Devices has the industry’s largest portfolio of DACs covering 8 to 20 bits in resolution, best in class performance, smallest footprint, lowest power, and ease of use features. These features provide a simple design-in solution for the most challenging of biasing and control applications from component right through to signal chain level. A comprehensive suite of design-in support is available for all components from evaluation boards to LTSpice simulation.
