Digitally Programmable Regulators
Analog Devices offers a broad line of digitally programmable regulators that offer output voltages that are on-the-fly adjustable via a digital interface. Our high perfomance digitally programmable regulators range from devices that offer simple adjustment of output voltage via a serial interface, to CPU core power applications controlled by VID or VRM, to full featured digital power management solutions.
The most common digital features include a PMBus compliant command set, flexible current/voltage/temperature monitoring, high retention EEPROM with ECC and fault logging, telemetry read-back, and synchronous Polyphase® current sharing. The ability to instantly configure a power system simplifies and speeds up development, prototyping, debugging and troubleshooting, making these digitally programmable regulators ideal for today’s most demanding power-hungry and data-intensive applications.
