Analog Devices offers single, dual, and combination transceivers of up to five RS-232/RS-562 drivers and receivers for 1.8 V to 5.5 V power supplies. Data terminal equipment (DTE) or data communications equipment (DCE) configurations are also available in 3.3 V or 5 V versions. Galvanically isolated modules break ground loops and provide a convenient, self-powered, isolated, low EMI solution that drastically reduces component count and design complexity.
