The ADA4899-1 is an ultralow noise (1 nV/√Hz) and distortion (<−117 dBc @1 MHz) unity-gain stable voltage feedback op amp, the combination of which makes it ideal for 16-bit and 18-bit systems. The ADA4899-1 features a linear, low noise input stage and internal compensation that achieves high slew rates and low noise even at unity gain. The Analog Devices, Inc. proprietary next-generation XFCB process and innovative circuit design enable such high performance amplifiers.

The ADA4899-1 drives 100 Ω loads at breakthrough performance levels with only 15 mA of supply current. With the wide supply voltage range (4.5 V to 12 V), low offset voltage (230 μV maxi-mum), wide bandwidth (600 MHz), and slew rate (310 V/μs), the ADA4899-1 is designed to work in the most demanding applications. The ADA4899-1 also features an input bias current cancellation mode that reduces input bias current by a factor of 60.

The ADA4899-1 is available in a 3 mm × 3 mm LFCSP and an 8-lead SOIC package. Both packages feature an exposed metal paddle that improves heat transfer to the ground plane, which is a significant improvement over traditional plastic packages. The ADA4899-1 is rated to work over the extended industrial temperature range, −40°C to +125°C.

These evaluation boards are designed to help users evaluate the ADA4899-1. The evaluation board is a BARE BOARD. There are no components or amplifiers soldered to the board. These parts must be obtained separately from the table below or on the product page. Free samples may also be requested. The unpopulated board enables users to quickly customize and prototype a variety of op amp circuits, which minimizes risk and reduces time to market.


The User Guide contains all the required documentation to build the board, including schematics, assembly drawing, and Bill of Materials.

The AD4899 provides low voltage and current noise and has a high GBW making it very suitable for a TIA implementation for measuring large BW (5MHz) low currents coming from source with high capacity (100pF).

Usability survey for 24bit AD/DA system
Thanks for asking for feedback. At this time the survey is not completed whether the ADA4899-1 is good enough for 24 bit AD/DA converter pre/post stages @+5V/-5V powering. This survey will basically test the achievable distortion level of the overall conversion system. The power down pin and the feedback path could allow for programmable gain applications and several selectable filter setup possibilities. I chose it because of the low noise features. Pity just that two are necessary for differential stages. And I would have loved to see it have this performance with rail to rail input/output swings :-)

This product has excellent performance in the simulation.
This pruduct has excellent perffffformance, so evaluation board is designed for test this device. result will be come up soon.
