Digital Potentiometers

A digital potentiometer adjusts and trims electronic circuits similar to variable resistors, rheostats and mechanical potentiometers. Sometimes called digital POT, RDAC, or digipot, these compact devices can be used to calibrate system tolerances or dynamically control system parameters. Nonvolatile memory digital potentiometers provide wiper setting retention after a power OFF to ON cycle. In addition, fuse link parts offer a one time program trimmer feature.

The AD511x series of non-volatile DigiPOTs continue ADI’s commitment to provide high performance digital potentiometers in small packages (2 mm × 2 mm LFCSP) over extended industrial temperature ranges.

These Single-Channel Non Volatile Digital potentiometers offer a variety of resolution, interface and resistance options of Single channel, 128-/64-/32-tap digital potentiometers: AD5110, AD5111, AD5113, AD5114, AD5115, AD5116

  • 5k ohm, 10k ohm, 80k ohm nominal resistance options
  • I2C, Up/Down and Push-Button interfaces
  • Maximum ±8% nominal resistance tolerance
