Regulated Step-Down Charge Pumps

Analog Devices’ family of regulated step-down charge pumps are used to step-down or buck an input voltage to a lower-level regulated output voltage. Switched capacitor converters offer a small solution footprint and a simpler design than conventional inductive switchers, while providing better efficiency and run cooler than linear regulators. Key features include low quiescent current, multimode operation with automatic mode switching to maintain regulation, Iout up to 500mA, low noise, constant frequency operation, Burst Mode® operation, overtemperature, fault and short-circuit protection.
