Product Details

The AD-ACEVSE22KWZ-KIT is a reference design for the metrology subsystem plus selected other features of a level 2, 7 kW to 22 kW AC electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE). It includes the ADE9113 isolated Σ-Δ analog-to-digital converter (ADC) coupled with the ADE9178 metrology DSP to accurately measure energy delivered to an electric vehicle (EV). It includes the MAX32672 ultralow- power ARM® Cortex®-M4 processor, a cost-effective, highly integrated, and highly reliable 32-bit microcontroller to accumulate energy measurements and securely send it to a host for display. A charge control state machine is run on the microcontroller to transition through different charge states when a charging plug is inserted into an electric vehicle. The kit includes a flexible printed circuit (FPC) connector and LCD to read the energy measurements and state transitions during a charging cycle. The power input/output, control pilot (CP), and proximity pilot (PP) signals are exposed on connectors at the edge of the board. The energy delivered to the EV is measured as a voltage drop across shunts and a resistor ladder network, which makes it easy to set up the boards in the field.

Product Details

Demonstration Circuit 2235A has boost and inverting charge pumps each with a low noise LDO post regulator featuring the LTC3265EDHC. The LTC3265 operates with an input voltage from 4.5V to 16V for the boost charge pump and from 4.5V to 32V for the inverting charge pump. The demo board provides selectable LDO± output set magnitudes of 5V, 15V, and 24V for each polarity. The demo board also provides the means to select between low power Burst Mode® operation or low noise constant-frequency mode operation, plus select an operating frequency of 500kHz, 200kHz, or 50kHz.

Product Details

The AD-FMCXMWBR1-EBZ is a level translator and power supply board, with FMC-compatible form factor. It is powered from the FMC connector, with the possibility to add an external supply, for application that require higher load currents. In this case, the external supply is prioritized. 

AD-FMCXMWBR1-EBZ allows multiple level translated digital communications paths between a controller/FPGA device and X-MW blocks. The module provides multiple supply voltages with high current capability, that can be used to bias the X-MW blocks or other IC’s in a prototype design.
