60 GHz Wireless Link for Industrial Wireless Connectors and the Factory of the Future
In this video, we demonstrate the use of ADI's partnership with Phoenix Contact to co-develop a complete data link solution for its industrial wireless connector, the NearFi coupler. ADI's 60 GHz complete data link solution was key in speeding up the end product time to market.
The demo illustrates the manner in which the data link allows for uninterrupted operation even with high misalignment and upon separation of the transceiver pair. It also enables co-existence of several NearFi couplers and other 60 GHz applications in a very confined space. It is protocol-agnostic and with that accepts a full range of Ethernet & other protocols to be transmitted. Additionally, it is immune to contaminated environments and electromagnetic interferences.
