The TMC2225 provides an integrated motor driver solution for 3D-printing, cameras, scanners and other automated equipment applications. The device has an integrated microstepping indexer, the completely noiseless current control mode StealthChop2™ and is intended to drive a bipolar stepper motor. The output driver block consists of low RDSon N-Channel power MOSFETs configured as full H-bridges to drive the motor windings. The TMC2225 is capable of driving up to 2A (peak) of current from each output (with proper heatsinking). TMC2225 is designed for a supply voltage of 4.75 to 36V. The device has a step and direction interface and can be configured with digital pins.

The TMC2225-EVAL allows you to explore all functions of the TMC2225-SA.
The TMC2225-EVAL-KIT is a set of MCU board Landungsbruecke, one Eselsbruecke bridge board and one TMC2225-EVAL driver board. It allows for a quick and simple start within only minutes to make your motor turning, while still providing full access to all registers and full functionality and diagnostics.
For diagnosis, all signals between MCU and TMC2225 are accessible with probes on the bridge board. TMC2225-EVAL can be used with or without the Landungsbrücke MCU board.
