In this step-by-step tutorial, Analog Devices’ ACE and DPG Lite software are shown in more detail. Various features of the software are shown along with instructions on how to apply a predefined use case, or modify for your application needs. Generating a tone using DPG Lite is demonstrated. This includes defining the tone parameters and sending out of DAC0. On the AD9082 hardware, the output of DAC0 is connected to ADC1 so that the tone can be received on the ADC side. The analysis tab in ACE is shown, in this example we can see the generated tone in the FFT viewer. This video provides a good basis for evaluating the MxFE® family using the demo platform.
