Преобразователи частоты фирмы Analog Devices работают в качестве переносчиков спектра сигнала и цифровых фильтров между преобразователем сигнала и блоком цифровой обработки. Эти новые ИС позволяют реализовать радиоприёмную или радиопередающую сигнальную цепочку с возможностями перепрограммирования и изменения конфигурации, что обусловливает применение этих ИС во многоканальных системах радиосвязи со многими несущими в базовых станциях стандарта 3G. Также данные ИС применяются в цифровых системах преобразования данных и в разнообразных системах коммуникации.
