Ideal for high-volume, cost-sensitive applications, Cyclone IV FPGAs enable you to meet increasing bandwidth requirements while lowering costs. The Altera Cyclone IV GX Transceiver Starter Kit offers you a platform for developing transceiver I/O-based FPGA designs. This kit provides complete hardware and software to enable you to develop your FPGA design, measure FPGA static and dynamic power consumption, test signal quality of the FPGAs transceiver I/O (up to 2.5 Gbps) and develop and test PCI Express 1.0 endpoint x1 lane designs (~250 MB per second transfer rate).
