The AD812 is a low power, single supply, dual video amplifier. Each of the amplifiers have 50 mA of output current and are optimized for driving one back terminated video load (150 Ω) each. Each amplifier is a current feedback amplifier and features gain flatness of 0.1 dB to 40 MHz while offering differential gain and phase error of 0.02% and 0.02°. This makes the AD812 ideal for professional video electronics such as cameras and video switchers.
The AD812 offers low power of 4.0 mA per amplifier max (VS = +5 V) and can run on a single +3 V power supply. The outputs of each amplifier swing to within one volt of either supply rail to easily accommodate video signals of 1 Vp-p. Also, at gains of +2 the AD812 can swing 3 V p-p on a single +5 V power supply. All this is offered in a small 8-pin plastic DIP or 8-pin SOIC package. These features make this dual amplifier ideal for portable and battery powered applications where size and power is critical.
The outstanding bandwidth of 145 MHz along with 1600 V/µs of slew rate make the AD812 useful in many general purpose high speed applications where a single +5 V or dual power supplies up to ±15 V are available. The AD812 is available in the industrial temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.
Lead free package option available (AD812ARZ, AD812ARZ-REEL, AD812ARZ-REEL7).

Evaluation Kits (1)
The Universal Dual High Speed Amplifier Evaluation Boards are bare boards that enables users to quickly prototype a variety of amplifier circuits, which minimizes risk and reduces time to market. These boards are all RoHs Compliant. See ordering guide below on what board to order by lead count and package.
Tools & Simulations
AD812 SPICE Macro Model
ADIsimPE, which is powered by SIMetrix/SIMPLIS, is a circuit simulation suite optimized for the design and development of analog and mixed signal circuits. SIMetrix mode is ideal for the simulation of general non-switching circuits. It provides full Pspice compatibility for use with industry-standard SPICE models. SIMPLIS (SIMulation Piecewise-Linear System) mode simulates the operation of switching circuits with vastly improved robustness, speed, and accuracy compared to standard SPICE. It is particularly useful for switching power supply, PLLs, and ADC/DAC applications.
ADI has always placed the highest emphasis on delivering products that meet the maximum levels of quality and reliability. We achieve this by incorporating quality and reliability checks in every scope of product and process design, and in the manufacturing process as well. "Zero defects" for shipped products is always our goal.
