Product Description

The AD8344 is a highly integrated SiGe active mixer optimized for receiver path down conversion. The input range spans from 400MHz to 1.2GHz allowing the part to be used in a broad range of applications including CDMA, GSM and TETRA infrastructure equipment.

The AD8344 provides a single ended 50W input impedance, on both the RF and LO input ports. An integrated LO driver allows for LO drive level, typically 0dBm.

The AD8344 can be optimized for power consumption and linearity through an external bias resistor connected to the EXRB pin. The AD8344 is specified for operation of a single +5V supply, consuming only 84mA, and 500µA in power down mode.

The AD8344 is fabricated on a high performance SiGe process. The device is packaged in a space saving 3mm x 3mm 16-lead LFCSP and fully specified over -40°C to +85°C temperature range.
