Power Supplies and Power Management
ADI offers solutions for both discrete and integrated designs. The ADE series of IC comprises complete single-chip solutions for power measurement. ADI also offers simultaneous-sampling ADCs for discrete designs that simultaneously measure the voltage and current in three-phase systems plus single-ended and differential amplifiers and low-leakage switches and muxes that provide a front end capable of interfacing to a wide variety of transformers and current sensors.
This family of voltage references employs a new core topology for high accuracy, while offering industry-leading temperature stability and noise performance. The devices’ low thermally induced output voltage hysteresis and low long-term output voltage drift also improve system accuracy over time and temperature variations.
A maximum operating current of 950 μA and a low dropout voltage (300 mV max) allow the device to be used in portable equipment.
ADR45xx series references are available in a wide range of output voltages, in an SOIC package, all of which are specified over the extended industrial temperature range of -40°C to +125 °C.

The AD5791 is a single 20-bit, unbuffered voltage-output DAC that operates from a bipolar supply of up to 33 V. The AD5791 accepts a positive reference input in the range 5 V to VDD – 2.5V and a negative reference input in the range VSS + 2.5 V to 0 V. The AD5791 offers a relative accuracy specification of ±1 LSB max, and operation is guaranteed monotonic with a ±1 LSB DNL max specification.
The part uses a versatile 3-wire serial interface that operates at clock rates up to 35 MHz and that is compatible with standard SPI, QSPI™, MICROWIRE™, and DSP interface standards. The part incorporates a power-on reset circuit that ensures the DAC output powers up to 0 V and in a known output impedance state and remains in this state until a valid write to the device takes place. The part provides an output clamp feature that places the output in a defined load state.

The ADA4638-1 is a high voltage, high precision, zero-drift amplifier featuring rail-to-rail output swing. It is guaranteed to operate from 4.5 V to 30 V single supply or ±2.25 V to ±15 V dual supplies while consuming less than 0.95 mA of supply current at ±5 V.
With an offset voltage of 4 μV, offset drift less than 0.05 μV/°C, no 1/f noise, and input voltage noise of only 1.2 μV p-p (0.1 Hz to 10 Hz), the ADA4638-1 is suited for high precision applications where large error sources cannot be tolerated. Pressure sensors, medical equipment, and strain gage amplifiers benefit greatly from nearly zero drift over the wide operating temperature range. Many applications can take advantage of the rail-to-rail output swing provided by the ADA4638-1 to maximize the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR).
The ADA4638-1 is specified for the extended industrial (−40°C to +125°C) temperature range and is available in 8-lead LFCSP (3 mm × 3 mm) and SOIC packages.
