Vision-Enabled Humanoid Hand for Autonomous Robotics

2026年01月22日

This demo showcases how a robot arm can operate effectively in environments where an overhead camera alone cannot provide the semantic understanding or operational safety required for complex tasks. By integrating an RGBD camera at the robot’s wrist, we enable real-time depth perception and environmental interpretation.

Using our advanced Time-of-Flight sensor combined with RGB imaging, the robot can accurately measure distances to objects as close as 10 cm while simultaneously understanding the surrounding scene. This capability allows for precise and safe manipulation even when objects move out of the overhead camera’s view.

In action, you’ll see the robot dexterously handle and reposition spheres, maintaining accuracy and control—even when visual coverage from above is lost. This demonstrates the power of wrist-mounted vision for next-generation robotics in dynamic environments.
