Algorithm for Converting Binary Seconds into Date/Time

Abstract

This application note describes algorithms for converting a date and time value to a binary value representing the number of seconds that have elapsed from some reference (epoch) point. The application note also describes algorithms for converting from an elapsed binary seconds value to date and time.
