The TMCM-1636 is a single axis servo drive for 3-phase BLDC motors and DC motors with up to ca. 1000W running at +24V or +48V. It offers a CAN & UART interface with either TMCL or CANopen protocol for communication. TMCM-1636 supports various positions feedback options: 2x incremental quadrature encoders, digital HALL sensor, absolute SPI- and SSI-based encoders. Customization of firmware and hardware is possible.

All you need to get started is a power supply and ADI Trinamic's free and easy to use TMCL-IDE. This graphical user interface allows quick setup and supports the use of commands in direct mode, monitors real-time behavior visualized in graphs, and logs and stores data.

Product Details

The TMCM-0960-MotionPy board is an open-source single board computer running MicroPython. It comes with several communication interface options like CAN, RS485, UART, and separate GPIO headers. With a wide supply voltage range of +6...+50V and industrial Fieldbus interfaces it is the engineers’ swiss army knife for small automation applications.

Plugging directly into the application for logging data on an SD card or updating subsystems without the need for additional tools, the module offers a total of 13 functions in Python programming language for ease of use.
