Product Details

Demonstration Circuit 1612A is a fully integrated LED driver with 750mA switch current featuring the LT3519-1 (1MHz switching) and the LT3519-2 (2.2MHz switching). The multitopology LT3519 operates with an input voltage up to 30V (40V transients) but the demo board has open LED protection set at 18V. The board is optimized to drive an LED string of up to 16V at 150mA in a SEPIC topology. The demo board operates from a 6V to 24V input voltage range.


LT3519 features in a low-side integrated 45V 750mA power switch, integrated catch diode, integrated compensation, 3000:1 PWM dimming ratio, overvoltage protection, shutdown control pin and analog LED current dimming control.

Product Details

Demonstration Circuit 1482 is a fully integrated, multitopology LED driver with a 45V, 750mA power switch featuring the LT3519. The board is optimized to drive a 100mA LED string from a 6V to 30V input power supply using a boost topology.The DC1482 has overvoltage protection at just above 40V if the LEDs are open or not properly attached to the terminals on the PCB.


The high input voltage range, integrated low-side power switch and catch diode, integrated compensation, low voltage floating current sense amplifier, high PWM dimming ratio, overvoltage protection, shutdown control pin, analog LED current dimming control, and fixed 400kHz switching frequency make the LT3519 an extremely versatile and powerful LED driving IC.
