ADSP-2196是一款160 MIPS的16位定点DSP,与ADSP-218x系列DSP产品软件兼容,并以易于使用的代数汇编语法而闻名。虽然架构是兼容的,但相比前代产品,ADSP-2196架构包含了一些改进,使性能显著增强、C编译器效率有所提高。ADSP-2196采用144引脚LQFP封装和144焊球小型BGA封装,与内置64K字RAM的ADSP-2191和内置32K字RAM、16K字ROM的ADSP-2195引脚兼容。引脚兼容使程序员无需重新设计硬件就可简便地迁移到更小的存储器模型,以降低系统成本。
电话软件算法
为提供一个完整的解决方案,ADI公司可针对ADSP-2196直接提供符合国际电信联盟(ITU)标准的高品质的语音编解码器和鲁棒的回声消除软件算法。这使服务供应商能够快速部署高质量、具有成本效益并且可扩展的下一代语音汇聚平台。
ADI公司提供了支持ADSP-2196 DSP的一系列语音和音调检测算法选择。许多算法如G.165、G.711、G.722、G.723、C.726、G.728、G.729、DTMF可以很容易地集成到您的应用程序中。
