The ADuCM3027/ADuCM3029 microcontroller units (MCUs) are ultra low power microcontroller systems with integrated power management for processing, control, and connectivity. The MCU system is based on the ARM Cortex-M3 processor, a collection of digital peripherals, embedded SRAM and flash memory, and an analog subsystem which provides clocking, reset, and power management capability in addition to an analog-to-digital converter (ADC) subsystem.

The following are the key features of the ADuCM3027/ADuCM3029 MCUs:

  • SensorStrobe for precise time synchronized sampling of external sensors. 
    • Works in hibernate mode, resulting in drastic current reduction in system solutions. Current consumption reduces by 10 times when using, for example, the ADXL363 accelerometer. 
    • Software intervention is not required after setup. 
    • No pulse drift due to software execution. 
  • Leading edge security. 
    • Fast encryption provides read protection to customer algorithms. 
    • Write protection prevents device reprogramming by unauthorized code. 
  • Robust operation. 
    • Full voltage monitoring in deep sleep modes. 
    • ECC support on flash. 
    • Parity error detection on SRAM memory. 
  • Failure detection of 32 kHz LFXTAL via interrupt.

Product Details

The ADuCM3029 EZ-KIT®, Analog Devices, Inc.is an evaluation system for the ADuCM3029 processor.


The ADuCM3029 processor is based on the ARM® Cortex®-M3 processor core, a collection of digital peripherals, embedded SRAM and flash memory. It also contains an analog subsystem which provides clocking, reset and power management capability in addition to an ADC subsystem. The ADuCM3029 Microcontroller is designed specifically for Motor Control and Industrial applications. The EZ-KIT ships with all of the necessary components required to start the evaluation immediately.


The EZ-KIT contains an array of three connectors that support the ADF7xxx Wireless Transceiver series of daughterboard products.


The EZ-KIT contains an expansion interface 3 (EI3) and Arduino interface. These interfaces provide for connecting with daughter boards to expand on the functionality of the EZ-KIT.


The evaluation board is designed to be used in conjunction with the IAR Embedded Workbench® and Segger® development environment for advanced application code development and debug such as:


  • Create, compile, assemble, and link application programs written in C++, C, and assembly
  • Load, run, step, halt, and set breakpoints in application programs
  • Read and write data and program memory
  • Read and write core and peripheral registers

Product Details

The EVAL-ADICUP3029 is an Arduino and PMOD compatible form factor development board that includes Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity. The board uses CrossCore Embedded Studio, an open source Eclipse based Interactive Development Environment (IDE), which can be downloaded free of charge. The platform contains many hardware and software example projects to make it easier for customers to prototype and create connected systems and solutions for Internet of Things (IoT) applications.


The EVAL-ADICUP3029 uses the ADuCM3029 ultra low power Arm Cortex-M3 processor as the main device on board. The ADuCM3029 is an integrated mixed-signal microcontroller system for processing, control and connectivity.

EVAL-ADF7030-1 EZ-KIT

Product Details

The ADF7030-1 EZ-KIT® is an evaluation and development system for the ADF7030-1 high performance, sub-GHz, RF transceiver. Four EZ-KIT models are available for the ADF7030-1, covering various frequency ranges.

Each ADF7030-1 EZ-KIT allows fast and thorough evaluation of the ADF7030-1 radio and provides a platform for host processor code development using the ADuCM3029 EZ-KIT mother board (ADZS-UCM3029EZLITE).

The ADF7030-1 EZ-KIT consists of the following:

  • RF daughter boards.
  • Antennae for over the air packet error rate testing.
  • ADuCM3029 EZ-KIT mother board and LCD shield for evaluation and development with the ADF7030-1. The ADF7030-1 daughter boards plug into this mother board.
  • ADF7030-1 Design Center, a graphical user interface (GUI) for evaluation of the ADF7030-1. The GUI can be used for configuring the ADF7030-1, evaluating transmit and receive operation, and transmitting and receiving packets.
