Switched Capacitor Converters

Analog Devices charge pump circuits are used to boost, buck, or invert voltages. These ICs use capacitive energy storage and unique switching algorithms to deliver high efficiency voltage conversion. Charge pumps are particularly well-suited for handling lower output load requirements, and their versatility makes them ideal for powering diverse analog signal chains, including bipolar and RF systems. The provision of these higher voltages is critical in many low voltage applications such as notebook PCs, mobile phone cables, and mobile phone display panels.
