ADP1046 Evaluation Board

The evaluation board features an isolated full bridge topology operating at 100KHz switching frequency. Its output is rated at deliver 12V, 9A with an input ranging from 36-60VDC. The board features the ADP1046 digital controller as the main controller for providing various functions such as current PWMs and OrFET control. It also provides protection features like OCP and OVP.

    This evaluation board features the ADP1046 in a DC/DC switching power supply in full bridge topology with synchronous rectification. The circuit is designed to provide a rated load of 12V/8A from an input voltage source of 36 to 60VDC.

Adapters and Interposers

The USB to I2C interface is used for communicating between a digital power management device (like the ADP1043A) and the configuration software that runs on a computer. It also supplies 5V and 0.5A to power up the daughter card / evaluation boards.

This same USB to I2C interface connector is used for the ADP1043A, ADP1047, ADP1048, and other digital power management devices.
