Inertial Measurement Units
Analog Devices’ inertial measurement unit (IMU) sensors are based on multiaxis combinations of preci sion gyroscopes, accelerometers, magnetometers, and pressure sensors. Our technology reliably senses and processes multiple degrees of freedom, even in highly complex applications and under dynamic conditions. These plug and play solutions include full factory calibration, embedded compensation and sensor processing, and a simple programmable interface.
Magnetic Sensors
Magnetic sensors are devices that detect and measure magnetic fields around permanent magnets, curre nt conductors, and electrical devices. As the world becomes increasingly electrified, demand for improved positional and current sensing has grown in turn. ADI MagIC+™ breakthrough multiturn sensing technology operates with zero-power, enabling more space-efficient solutions. ADI MagIC+™ magnetic sensors create more accurate solutions. Analog Devices’ magneto resistive sensing technologies, signal conditioning capabilities, and deep domain expertise are enabling new, innovative, and high performance sensing solutions for both position and current measurements across a broad range of applications and markets.
Optical Sensors & Time of Flight
Analog Devices’ optical sensors are optical sensing front ends that include integrated ultralow nois e amplification and high performance photodiodes. These solutions are used to achieve the highest performance for instrumentation, industrial, or clinical applications, or to optimize a solution to achieve the lowest power dissipation at a given performance level for battery-powered and portable applications. ADI offers signal-chain solutions that enable time of flight (ToF) systems with industry-leading performance for both continuous wave (CW) CMOS and pulsed (CCD) systems. Our CMOS image sensors offer the highest resolution on the market, and can be complemented with depth computation and processing, laser drivers, power management, and development tools with reference firmware/software. We also offer turnkey ToF modules that greatly accelerate time to market and offer production ready, calibrated solutions to the broadest base of customers.

Temperature Sensors
Analog Devices offers highly accurate and reliable temperature sensors that provide both analog and digital outputs, making them suitable for industrial, communications, automotive, and digital healthcare applications. Our temperature sensors can interface with external sensors like thermocouples, RTDs, NTCs, and diodes. Temperature switches are available to activate outputs when specific temperature thresholds are reached. With measurement accuracy up to ±0.1°C across a broad temperature range, these sensors are NIST traceable and ready to use without needing extra signal conditioning or calibration. ADI offers various interfaces, including I2C, SPI, 1-Wire, and PWM for digital products, and current and voltage for analog products. Our temperature sensors come in diverse package options, and all undergo testing and calibration during production.
