ADMX6001: 10 GSPS Low-Noise Digitizer Evaluation Board

Jan 9 2026

In this video, ADI introduces the ADMX6001, a DC-coupled 10 GSPS digitizer evaluation board that helps engineers achieve low-noise, wideband signal capture from DC to 5 GHz. Targeting demanding time-domain applications such as time-of-flight mass spectrometry, distributed fiber optic sensing, optical coherence tomography, and high-speed oscilloscopes, the ADMX6001 uses a dual-path architecture that combines ADI’s high-speed ADC AD9213 with the precision SAR ADC AD4080. By stitching data from both paths, the design reduces 1/f noise and improves overall digitization accuracy. The board supports unipolar and bipolar single-ended signals via the ADL5580 high-speed driver and LTC2664 precision DAC for flexible DC biasing and maximized dynamic range. The kit connects to the Xilinx VCU118 FPGA platform via FMC+ and is supported by IIO Oscilloscope and Python scripts, with all tools and documentation.
