10GSPS digitizer for ToF mass spectroscopy

Jul 7 2025

Experience ADI’s 10GSPS DC-Coupled Digitizer in a realistic simulation of a time-of-flight spectroscopy system. Utilizing the 5GHz analog bandwidth of the AD9213 RF ADC enables direct sampling of time-domain signals with durations of less than 1ns while accurately recording DC baseline voltage levels thanks to a fully DC-coupled signal chain. Built-in DC offset adjustment capability allows for this baseline to be shifted by a user-programmable value, meaning the digitizer solution can handle a wide range of input signal waveforms and DC voltage levels. In addition, the synchronized 40MSPS precision signal path enabled by the AD4080 precision SAR ADC measures the same input signal in parallel, significantly reducing 1/f noise for wideband time-domain applications.
