eFuse Fan Protection
ADI’s protection devices including eFuse products are ideal for many applications including protection for fans. ADI’s MAX17616 protects the fan from over-voltage and the input supply from over-current if the fan faults and draws too much current. The MAX17616 and MAX17616A offer highly versatile and programmable protection boundaries for systems including over voltage, under voltage, over current, and reverse conduction protection. Both versions of the part feature PMBus for configuration and condition monitoring.
