The MAX49140 is a single high-speed comparator optimized for systems powered from a 3V or 5V supply. The MAX49140 combines high speed, low power, and rail-to-rail inputs. Propagation delay is 30ns, while supply current is only 100µA (typ).

The input common-mode range of the device extends up to both power-supply rails. The output pulls to within 0.3V of either supply rail without external pullup circuitry, making the device ideal for interfacing with both CMOS and TTL logic. All input and output pins can tolerate a continuous short-circuit fault condition to either rail. Internal hysteresis ensures clean output switching, even with slow-moving input signals.

The MAX49140 is offered in tiny, 5-pin SC70 package and is fully specified over -40°C to +125°C automotive temperature range. The device is AEC-Q100 qualified.

Product Details

The MAX49140 evaluation kit (EV kit) is a fully assembled and tested circuit board that evaluates the MAX49140 30ns, rail-to-rail single supply comparator.

The MAX49140 EV kit comes with a MAX49140AXK/V+ installed that operates off a VDD supply between 2.7V and 5.5V. The MAX49140AXK/V+ is fully specified over -40°C to +125°C automotive temperature range and is AEC-Q100 qualified.
