Product Details
The MAX17524 dual 3A, high-efficiency, high-voltage, synchronous step-down DC-DC converter with integrated high-side MOSFETs operates over an input-voltage range of 4.5V to 60V. The device can deliver up to 3A on each output and generates output voltages from 0.9V up to 90% of VIN. This device features internal compensation.
The MAX17524 uses peak current-mode control, and can be operated in pulse-width modulation (PWM), pulse-frequency modulation (PFM), and discontinuous-conduction mode (DCM) to enable high efficiency under light-load conditions.
The feedback-voltage regulation accuracy is accurate to within ±1.4% over -40°C to +125°C. The device is available in a 32-pin (5mm x 5mm) Thin QFN (TQFN) package. Simulation models are available.
Applications
- Base Station Power Supplies
- Distributed Supply Regulation
- General-Purpose Point-of-Load
- High-Voltage Single-Board Systems
- Industrial Control Power Supplies
- Wall Transformer Regulation
