RECOMMENDED FOR NEW DESIGNS

Aerospace, MMIC, 6.15 GHz to 12 GHz, Hybrid VCO with Varactor Diodes

Viewing:

Overview

  • Wide Tuning Bandwidth
  • Pout: + 1 dBm Typ.
  • Low Phase Noise: -98 dBc/Hz @ 100 kHz offset and 6.15 GHz Typ.
  • No External Resonator Needed
  • Single Positive Supply: Vcc = +5 V @ 62 mA Typ.
  • Hybrid construction:
    • Varactor Diodes screened in accordance to MIL-PRF-38534 Table C-II, Class H Screening
    • Hybrid VCO screened in accordance with MIL-PRF-38534 Table C-IX, Class K Screening
  • 12-Lead Ceramic Hermetic Leadless Chip Carrier Package.

The ADH732S is a wideband, MMIC, Hybrid Voltage Controlled Oscillator which incorporates the resonator, negative resistance device, and varactor diodes. Output power and phase noise performance are excellent over temperature due to the oscillator's monolithic construction. The Vtune port accepts an analog tuning voltage from 0 to +23 V. The ADH732S Hybrid VCO operates from a single +5V supply, consumes only 62 mA of current, and is housed in a 12-Lead hermetic package. This wideband VCO uniquely combines the attributes of ultra small size, low phase noise, low power consumption, and wide tuning range.
