The AD5329 offers one of the first internal reference voltages to set DAC output full-scale designed in a low cost fine line CMOS process. This low power, dual, 12-Bit D/A converter offers a low error bipolar output swing around a buffered virtual ground output terminal. Using 2's complement input coding this DAC easily generates a ±2VPEAK output swing around the stabilized +2V virtual ground (VBZ) with a 2 microsecond settling time. When combined with an external differential amplifier operating from bipolar supplies the AD5329 can easily generate true ground referenced output voltage swings. This Dual 12-Bit DAC is offered in the compact uSOIC-10 package.
