In this step-by-step tutorial, the initialization process is shown using Analog Devices’ ADS9 high speed carrier card and the AD9082 MxFE® evaluation board. Required hardware connections are overviewed, along with a few extra options depending on use case. The FPGA image associated with the ADS9 board is loaded using the ACE software GUI. Loading using DPG Lite is also shown. Either ACE or DPG Lite can be used to initialize; using both is not required. This process is required before any steps shown in the subsequent videos.
