USB to Parallel Port Adaptor Board

The EVAL-ADF4XXX is a USB to parallel port adaptor board which allows control of older PLL evaluation boards using a standard USB port.
The evaluation board kit comes with a USB cable and the adaptor PCB board. The board contains a USB microcontroller which converts the USB data to lower speed serial data which can be used to control the PLL boards directly. The board also has a USB connector and 25-pin D-connector. The parallel port cable that ships with the older PLL evaluation boards should be connected to the 25-pin D-connector. The USB port should be connected to your pc using the USB cable provided. USB drivers for the board are provided on the standard PLL evaluation board CD.
Please install the ADI evaluation board software before plugging in the USB board.
