Product Description
The AD199x amplifiers, including the AD1990, AD1992, and AD1994, are single-chip devices containing an integrated stereo ∑∆ modulator and stereo "bridge-tied" load (BTL) power stage. The AD199x amplifiers deliver audiophile sound quality (THD < 0.005 %; SNR > 101 dB; PSRR > 65 dB) with at least 50 % less heat than traditional linear amplifiers. The device’s breakthrough performance is achieved through the closed loop integration of a Sigma-Delta modulator with a bridge drive circuit and high power output stage. In addition to achieving superior audio performance, this novel ∑∆ architecture minimizes radiated and conducted EMI and RF emissions.
