Product Description

The ADXL278 is a small (5 mm x 5 mm x 2 mm ceramic LCC package), low power (2.2 mA current at 5V), dual axis high-g iMEMS® accelerometer designed to sense shock and vibration at g-ranges of ±35g/±35g, ±50g/±50g, or ±70g/±35g. Three models are available and include AD22284-A-R2 (±35g/±35g), AD22285-R2 (±50g/±50g), and AD22286-R2 (±70g/±35g). These products are used in a variety of crash/impact detection applications which include automotive airbag crash detection systems as well as medical, industrial, and sports equipment.
