Overview

Based on the Z8 MCU single-chip family of IR microcontrollers, the Z86L81/Z86L86/Z86L98 feature 237 bytes of general-purpose RAM and 24/32/64KB of ROM. The Maxim CMOS microcontrollers offer fast executing, efficient use of memory, sophisticated interrupts, input/output bit manipulation capabilities, automated pulse generation/reception, and internal key-scan pullup transistors.
