The RHM4900-1 is a quad, 40VIN, 3A (4A peak), step-down Silent Switcher® power μModule (micro-module) regulator designed for CSL applications. The Silent Switcher architecture minimizes electromagnetic interference (EMI), while delivering high efficiency at frequencies of up to 3MHz. The package includes the controllers, power switches, inductors, and support components. Operating over a wide input voltage range, the RHM4900-1 supports output voltages from 0.8V to 8V, and a switching frequency range of 200kHz to 3MHz. Only bulk input and output filter capacitors are needed to finish the design.
The RHM4900-1 is packaged in a compact, over-molded, ball-grid array (BGA) package suitable for automated assembly by standard surface-mount equipment. The RHM4900-1 is available in SnPb or RoHS-compliant terminal finish. The outputs can be parallel in an array for up to 12A (16A peak) capability.
