The ADG741 is a monolithic CMOS SPST switch. It is designed on an advanced submicron process that provides low power dissipation yet high switching speed, low on resistance, low leakage currents and -3 dB bandwidths of greater than 200 MHz can be achieved.

The ADG741 can operate from a single 1.8 V to 5.5 V supply, making it ideal for use in battery-powered instruments and with Analog Devices' new generation of DACs and ADCs.

When I first selected the adg741 for my design, I wasn't sure how it would perform since it was intended to 'latch' an analog voltage level into a relatively small capacitor. The switches performed well in bread board testing, so I went ahead with them for the final design. In both my op amp gain and latch sub circuits the switches JUST WORKED. they provided me with the clean staircase waveform I was seeking and held fairly low (0-2v) constant voltages with leakage currents low enough not to be noticeable to the naked eye when that voltage was used to drive LEDs. I highly recommend this product for low power and battery powered applications where high off isolation is required.
