Frequently Asked Questions About Buy Online
Can I cancel an order if it has not already shipped?
If you need to cancel an order, you should contact ADI Customer Service and submit your request. We will review the form and contact you with further instructions. You can't request a cancel of an order within a 30 day window after the order is placed.
What credit cards can I use and which products can I order from Buy On Line?
Analog Devices' website accepts Master Card, Visa and American Express. The majority of our parts are available to purchase online, there are some exceptions. The parts that are not available to purchase there can be obtained from one of our Authorized Distributors.
When will my items be shipped?
Items ship within 48 hours after the material is received into our warehouse. After placing your order, you will receive an immediate acknowledgement by email. Once your order is scheduled for shipment, you will receive an email with the details of your order ship date and expected delivery.
It is important to note the estimated availability date on the order entry screen. We take orders for items that are not in stock, so delivery may be in the future. Also, please note the warehouse location for the product ordered. We have warehouses in the United States, Europe and Southeast Asia. Transit times from these sites vary.
Will the online ordering system store my account information so that after I place the first online order I won't have to fill in all the blanks on subsequent orders?
The online system uses "Cookies" to remember information and forms you have completed during the registration process. Once you have registered with Analog Devices, all forms and information will be pre-filled with the information you had provided to us. However, we will not store credit card numbers. You must re-enter your credit card number every time you place an order. This is done for security.
Can I get a copy of your Terms and Conditions?
The Terms and Conditions are listed on our site and are available while placing an order online. You may print the Terms and Conditions of Purchased Products if you require a hard copy.
Do you accept Pay In Advance or COD orders online?
No, currently, we accept only credit card orders (MasterCard, American Express and Visa).
What warranty comes with your products?
Analog Devices warrants that each product will be free of defects in materials and workmanship for the period set forth in its published user manuals for its system products and for a period of one (1) year for its component products. The warranty commences on the date the product is shipped by Analog Devices.
Will you drop ship to my customers?
Yes, fill in the appropriate information in the shipping address area. You may enter as many ship-to addresses as you like.
Who do I call for technical assistance?
Call 800-262-5643 and press #1 on the menu for component products or system products.
Can I get guaranteed overnight delivery? If so, what is the cutoff time for my order to be placed?
We can't guarantee overnight delivery. If you need a rush shipment, please contact our Customer Service Department at 781-461-3333 or send an email to ADI Customer Service to see if shipment can be improved.
Will there be any improvements made to Buy Online in the future? If I have any suggestions, how can I be heard?
We are constantly working to improve the ease of use and effectiveness of the Buy Online system in order to suit your needs.
Is the online system available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and if so, can I get product shipped out on a Saturday or Sunday?
Buy Online will be available for order placement and checking account and order status 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. However, our shipping department is only open Monday through Friday.
If I order the wrong material, will you accept them back without a restocking charge?
Normally, within 30 days, we will accept un-opened, unused product back without a restocking charge as long as you place an order for equivalent product. Please contact ADI Customer Service and submit your request. We reserve the right to charge restocking fees depending on the condition of the returned item.
Is the site secure?
We encrypt passwords and use SSL on order submissions. We will not disclose your email address or any other address contained in your registration form to anyone or any mail list. This information will be kept confidential at Analog Devices.
Can I schedule my shipments out?
No. At this time Analog Devices will default the customers request date for the product(s) being order to the date the order is placed.
What is your minimum order size?
While there is no minimum order value for Buy Online, we require many of our products to be purchased in package quantities (i.e. tubes of 50, reels of 1000, etc.).
What is your return policy and how do I go about returning an item?
If a product fails within the warranty period, we will repair or replace at our option. Within the first 30 days, we will normally accept un-opened, unused product back without a restocking charge as long as you place an order for equivalent product. We reserve the right to charge restocking fees depending on the condition of the returned item. Please contact ADI Customer Service and submit your request.
How much are shipping charges on my order?
Shipping charges will depend on the delivery method selected and the country. The total shipping charges will be displayed on the "Review Order" page. To obtain additional shipping information, please visit our Shipment Options page.
Will I have to pay taxes on my shipments?
If your purchase is for resale, you must supply a tax exempt certificate to us. Otherwise we will add applicable taxes to your invoice.
My company is outside the United States. Can I use your online ordering system?

How do I know if you received my order?
You will receive an order acknowledgment email from Analog Devices which will confirm that we have received your order. If you do not receive an order acknowledgment email, then check your orders status from the Buy Online homepage. The email is usually sent to your inbox within 1 hour. If you do not receive an order acknowledgment and you are certain that you submitted your order, please contact ADI Customer Service.
